A Perfect Day Fishing in Aruba – Fresh Tuna and a Great Finish at Lucy’s

Today was one of those beautiful Aruba fishing days that remind us why we love being out on the water, fishing charter Aruba.

We welcomed John Kinder from Henderson, Nevada, aboard the Carla for a morning fishing trip just off the coast of Aruba. The ocean was calm, the skies were clear, and the Caribbean water had that incredible deep blue color that makes every trip special.

After leaving the Renaissance Marina in Oranjestad, it didn’t take long before the action started. The reels began to sing and the excitement on the boat grew quickly. By the end of the trip we had landed three nice tuna, making it a very successful day on the water.

One of the best parts of fishing in Aruba is what happens after the trip.

When we returned to the marina, the fresh tuna was taken straight to Lucy’s Restaurant Aruba, located right at the dock. They prepared the fish for our guests, turning the day’s catch into a delicious meal just minutes after leaving the boat. It doesn’t get fresher than that.

Before docking, we captured a drone photo of the Carla arriving back into the harbor, with the beautiful Oranjestad skyline in the background. Seeing the boat coming in after a great fishing trip is always a great moment — smiles on everyone’s faces and another good story from the ocean.
