Family Fishing Fun in Aruba – A Great Day on the Water with the Karnes Family

One of the best parts about fishing in Aruba is sharing the experience with families, and today was a perfect example of that. The Karnes family from Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, joined us aboard the Carla after finding Carla Fishing Charters Aruba online and reading our reviews.

They were looking for a fun activity to enjoy together during their vacation, and a private fishing trip turned out to be the perfect choice.

We departed from Renaissance Marina in Oranjestad, and it didn’t take long before the action started. The excitement on board grew quickly as the reels began to run and everyone got involved. Family trips like this are always special — smiles, teamwork, and unforgettable moments out on the Caribbean waters.

By the end of the trip, the Karnes family had a great catch, and the kids were especially excited holding their fish for photos back at the marina. These are the memories that make a vacation in Aruba even more special.

After returning to the dock, we cleaned and prepared the fish for them, so they could enjoy their fresh catch later. Many of our guests love this part of the experience — going from ocean to plate the same day.

The Karnes family was very happy with the trip, and it was great seeing everyone enjoying the moment together. Fishing in Aruba is not just about catching fish, but about spending quality time with family, enjoying the ocean, and creating memories that last.

A Perfect Day Fishing in Aruba – Fresh Tuna and a Great Finish at Lucy’s

Today was one of those beautiful Aruba fishing days that remind us why we love being out on the water, fishing charter Aruba.

We welcomed John Kinder from Henderson, Nevada, aboard the Carla for a morning fishing trip just off the coast of Aruba. The ocean was calm, the skies were clear, and the Caribbean water had that incredible deep blue color that makes every trip special.

After leaving the Renaissance Marina in Oranjestad, it didn’t take long before the action started. The reels began to sing and the excitement on the boat grew quickly. By the end of the trip we had landed three nice tuna, making it a very successful day on the water.

One of the best parts of fishing in Aruba is what happens after the trip.

When we returned to the marina, the fresh tuna was taken straight to Lucy’s Restaurant Aruba, located right at the dock. They prepared the fish for our guests, turning the day’s catch into a delicious meal just minutes after leaving the boat. It doesn’t get fresher than that.

Before docking, we captured a drone photo of the Carla arriving back into the harbor, with the beautiful Oranjestad skyline in the background. Seeing the boat coming in after a great fishing trip is always a great moment — smiles on everyone’s faces and another good story from the ocean.
